中国人学不好口语的5大原因 看看能不能戳中你

有这么一个很奇怪的现象：我们中国人从小学开始就学英语，一直到大学还要考四六级，也就是学了十几年的英语，但大多数人却无法无障碍的与英语国家的外国人交流？甚至连基本的对话都无法进行。每次想到中国人口语学不好这个话题，英语君都会想起经典的李雷韩梅梅段子－How are you? I’m fine, thank you. And you? I’m fine, too!这样机械式的打招呼套路真是尴尬的难以启齿了，我们常常也是一笑了之，但很少人思考究竟为什么我们学不好口语？今天就总结了几个国人学不好口语的重大原因，看看能不能戳中你？

在分析原因之前，我们先看看外网上的外国友人是如何看待中国人的口语水平的

中国学习英语的人数不胜数，然而由于

1）合格的英语老师太少以及

2）对他们来说英语还是很难学的（没人会期望绝大多数美国人有能力学好汉语，相反的英语对于中国人来说也有一定难度）

所以，绝大多数的中国人不会说英语。2004年我在北京的时候，在街上就有很多路人跟我打招呼说hello how are you，但我回复他们I’m fine, and you之后，他们就不知道该咋回我了。一些市场上的小贩起码还可以熟知英文数字，但也有一些连数字都不会说的人，只能把价格打在计算器上给我看，全程没有语言交流。这还是在大城市的景点附近，我是不敢想象一些偏远的农村地区会是什么情况了。

这条答复可以说一针见血的概括了国内很多地区的英语口语水平，虽然看的有点无奈，但真的也无力反驳

英语君结合一些外国友人的观点和自己的观察，对于口语水平和读写水平的诡异差异这一现象，做出了以下几点总结！

1.口语学不好－应试教育要背大锅

It’s almost a universal fact that students in China are facing serious peer pressure, we’ve all been there, no need to explain how hard it is. But under this situation, education tends to be more theoretical rather than practical, English education is no exception. Schools put too much effort on teaching reading and writing skills, and these skills are, mostly, out-dated. When it comes to real conversations, there’s few can actually enjoy communicating in English, or even be able to have one. Schools owe us a lot.

中国学生的同辈压力有多严重可以说人尽皆知了，我们也都有经历过，无需再多介绍。但在这样巨大的压力下，我们的教育似乎也偏向理论而非实用性，英语教育也不例外。学校花费了太多精力在训练读写技巧上，然而这些技巧往往都是过时老套的。一提到真实的英语对话，真的很少有人可以享受其中，甚至都不能基本的交流，学校在这一点上确实欠缺了很多。

因此，学校的应试教育真的无法让你学到当下最流行的口语表达。

2.英语语音基础没打实

A lot of people think it’s the Chinese accent that is holding us down, but actually accent is not a big issue, pronunciation is. We’ve learned one thing or two about pronunciation rules, while these rules themselves are fine, but to put them in use we might need to go deeper. If you don’t have a fully understanding about these rules, it’s easy to make mistakes like confusing the vowels, which is a common mistake made by many foreigners. It’s hard to master a language if you can’t pronounce the words right.

很多人都以为，学不好口语是因为自己口音太重。但事实上口音其实不算什么，语音发音才是大问题。我们都多多少少学过英语发音规则，但要实际应用的话可能还要深入学习才行！如果对这些语音规则掌握得不够牢固，很容易就会出现错误，比如搞混元音，这个也是很多外国人学英语容易犯的毛病。如果连发音都发不准，学好一门语言就别想了。

3.英语语言环境不够友好

If you search “bad Chinese English” on Google or Yahoo, you’ll see results like this, “Why are there so many bad English translations in China?”, and this “22 Chinese Signs That Got Seriously Lost In Translation “. This is the impression that China has left on foreign tourists, that Chinese people can’t speak English right. It’s hard to improve the average English level if we don’t try to use it more and be more cautious on these things.

如果你在谷歌或雅虎上搜索“bad Chinese English”这样的关键词，你会看到以下结果：“为什么在中国有这么多的错误英文翻译？”，以及“22个爆笑的汉英错误翻译标识”。这是我们国家给外国游客们留下的印象，他们觉得中国人总是说不对英语。事实上，如果我们不多多的把英语投入应用，并且在这些翻译事务上多加小心的话，想要提高整体英语水平实在是很难。

造成找各种问题的根本原因，就是因为我们没有学英语的语言环境！周围没有native speaker，英语翻译也不完全准确。

所以，你需要有一个优质的英语学习环境。

4.害羞内向不敢说

I’ve seen so many classmates from high school and college who are actually good at English and have the ability to communicate with others, but they would rather not talk in English, or get shy and nervous when they’re not using their mother’s tongue. I just want to note one thing: No one can play the guitar if they just learned the theories but never really touch the strings (we are not talking about those incredible “aliens” here, just human). Just raise your hand in class and speak something, or maybe just joke around with your friends, but in English guys!

我在高中和大学的时候都有遇到很多明明英语很好，有能力用英语交谈的同学，却不愿与开口，或是一讲英语就害羞紧张。我觉得有一点必须要指明：没人可以通过纯属研究理论就学会弹吉他，不碰琴的话是不可能的（当然我们不考虑那些非人一般的天才，只是普通人角度来说）。其实只要上课多发言，就算平时跟朋友开开玩笑也可以用英语啊！

或许，有小伙伴会说：

“我周围找不到一起练习的人，也练不了口语呀。”

“我就想和native speaker一起练，但也没机会。”

5.说了这么多，你还不努力？

If you’ve come to this part and still think I’m not talking, maybe there’s something wrong about your own methods. If you never read English materials and watch English movies or TV shows at all, go get yourself some; if you’ve done it all and still nothing changed, just admit when you’re watching Game of Thrones, it’s just the plot that you really care about, not the language at all.
